The PC and Xbox 360 versions of the Legacy DLC can be bought and downloaded now. Dragon Age 2 sells additional content through an in-game store and it's this, we presume, that violated Steam's rules. "Consequently some of our games have been removed by Steam. "No other download service has adopted this practice," he added. "Unfortunately, Steam has adopted a set of restrictive terms of service which limit how developers interact with customers to sell downloadable content.
"At EA, we offer our games and content to all major download services including GameStop, Amazon, Direct2Drive and Steam," said DeMartini in a statement provided to Eurogamer.
