Refresh Rate: 60Hz (again, no surprises) SOLUTION: The solution resides in creating a custom display setting in the graphic card control panel, but with the proper settings. I've tried creating a custom display setting in the Nvidia control panel, but it kept failing or displaying weirdly. WHAT I TRIED: Obviously I tried your trick, it didn't help me. The second I removed the DVI/VGA adapter and plugged the VX2025 in full DVI, my computer stopped crashing, but the resolution problem started.

PROBLEM: The Viewsonic monitor works in digital mode (DVI), but the display resolution was stuck at a maximum 1024x768 (as native) instead of 1680x1050.ĬONTEXT: I was using it as a second monitor plugged in VGA with a DVI adapter on the video card (my primary monitor is fully plugged DVI), but I found out that it kept causing driver crash (blue screen) for my video card (GeForce GTX 570) on Windows 10. I've managed to find a solution so I figured I'd put it here as it was the top post I've got when I was looking for anwsers : I've also had a weird problem with DVI on my VX2025, and it's not the same.
